£80-£95 per dayEmpowering-Learning are working with Primary and Secondary Schools in Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas who are looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to start ASAP.
We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable Teaching Assistants, that will be able to support pupils daily in the classroom. You will play a key role in supporting the pupils with communication, learning, and independence, in a safe and inclusive environment to help their development.
Job Responsibilities
Supporting pupils in Primary or Secondary schools (depending on your preference)
Supervising pupil's behaviour and encouraging positive behaviour in the classroom.
Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with needs.
Encourage and support the children in their learning and development.
Support social interaction.
Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities.
Monitoring student progress.Job Requirements
Experience in working with children
Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities (desired)
Strong communication skills
Passion and desire to work in either Mainstream or SEND learning environments
Initiative, willingness and hands on approach
