LTF Recruitment are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming secondary school located in Nottingham, Kirkby in Ashfield, NG17. The role will require you to support students in KS3 & KS4, supporting them to engage with learning day-day. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively with teaching staff & learning support staff to provide the best possible support for students.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide daily support to students in KS3 & KS4
Deliver personalised 1-1 and small group support, with an understanding of individual needs
Build supportive relationships with students
Monitor and encourage students' social, emotional and academic growth
Track student progress, setting and evaluating targets and goals for improvementsRequirements:
A relevant qualification/degree is desirable for this role
Previous experience involving working with children/young people within a school setting
Have a genuine interest in education and supporting students to develop and achieve
