The Role – Teaching Assistant – Southwark
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Southwark for an ASAP start.
You will work closely with the class teacher to support day-to-day learning, assist with lesson activities and help ensure pupils remain engaged throughout the school day. You will provide additional guidance where needed, helping children develop their understanding and make progress across a range of subjects.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing classroom materials and supporting practical learning activities.

Providing additional help to pupils who may be finding certain subjects challenging.

Monitoring pupils' engagement and sharing feedback with the class teacher.
*
Building positive relationships with pupils and working collaboratively with school staff.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within a primary school setting would be advantageous. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping children thrive.
