The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students both academically and pastorally. You will help create a positive learning environment and provide targeted support where required.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting students within the classroom and across the school

Working alongside teachers to support learning and engagement

Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required

Helping students access and understand their learning

Supporting students with additional learning needs where appropriate

Building positive relationships with students and staff

Essential Requirements

We are looking for candidates who:

Have previous experience working within a school or educational setting

Have experience supporting secondary-aged students

Are confident supporting students in a classroom environment

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Are reliable, punctual and professional

Can work effectively as part of a wider school team

Can build positive and professional relationships with students and staff

Have a genuine commitment to supporting young people's education

Experience supporting students with additional needs would be advantageous.
