SEN Role working with children with ASD - AutismAcademics LTD are currently working with this very successful Primary school based in the borough of Westminster to recruit two Teaching Assistants to work in their EYFS classes. Both roles are working with children with ASD - Autism and you will be working alongside an efficient SEN team to ensure that these children can access the curriculum and have a great start to their Primary education.
Applications will be most welcome from applicants with the following attributes;
A genuine interest to work with children with SEN
A high standard of written and verbal English
A Level 3 Education Qualification or a hold a degree
Be able to commit to a full academic year with the school
Experience working with children
Be able to be caring and patient
Open to learning a range of SEN strategies
Be confident working with school staff, parents and specialists SEN staff who visit the school
Be able to carry out personal care (Changing Nappies if required)The school are offering a long term contract for the full academic year and will provide training to help you work alongside your pupil and help them achieve their learning goals. The school is a fantastic mix of old and new with the recent addition of extra classrooms and outside play areas.
