Long-Term Supply Teaching Assistant Needed!!!

Job Overview:
Aspire People are working with a good Ofsted rated school based in Gloucester that requires a Long-Term Supply Teaching Assistant to join covering for a full academic year September 24 until July 25.
The role will be based on supporting teaching staff and students across the full primary curriculum assisting in the classroom, supporting individual students or small groups, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere within the school.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide classroom support to teachers, including assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
* Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support and intervention.
* Help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
* Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and managing classroom resources.
* Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their requirements.
* Supervise students during break times, outings, and other activities as needed.
* Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their development and well-being.
* Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is essential within the UK.
* A genuine interest in working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Basic administrative and organizational skills.
* Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
