The Role

As a Teaching Assistant in Twickenham, you will:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to boost confidence and progress.

Support children with varying learning needs, including those with additional needs where required.
Encourage positive behaviour and promote children's wellbeing throughout the school day.
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or youth setting (desirable but not essential).
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Graduates considering a future career in teaching are strongly encouraged to apply.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
