The Role – Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

* Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.

* Assist with classroom preparation and the organisation of learning resources.

* Provide targeted support to pupils who require additional help with their learning.

* Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.

* Support pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND where required.

* Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

* Gain hands-on experience across the primary age range.

Requirements – Graduate Teaching Assistant

To be considered for this Graduate Teaching Assistant role, you will need:

* A degree in any subject.

* A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* A patient, caring and proactive approach.

* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

* Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.

* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
