Part time, 2 days per week, SEN Teaching Assistant role, Mainstream primary, NW2*
We are currently working with a lovely independent prep school in West Hampstead (NW2) who are looking for a PART TIME SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Early Years with social and emotional difficulties – 2 days per week on a long term basis, starting after half term.
They are looking for someone who can commit to Tuesdays and Thursdays on an ongoing basis.
Key Details:
* Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Location: West Hampstead (NW2) - nearest stations are Kilburn & Cricklewood
* Trial: From Monday 26th October
* Start: After half term
* Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
* Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated support to a child aged in EYFS, nursery
* Implement positive behaviour management strategies
* Support learning, engagement, and social development
* Build a positive and trusting relationship with the child
* Work closely with teaching staff and parents where required
* Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
About You
* Previous experience supporting children with behavioural needs
* Patient, calm, and resilient approach
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Experience within EYFS or nursery settings is desirable
* Able to commit to Tuesdays and Thursdays
