Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming primary school in Edgbaston. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential to lead to a permanent contract directly with the school for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children's early development, helping to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team to support pupils both academically and personally throughout the school day.

The role will also involve providing personal care support, so candidates must be comfortable assisting children with their personal needs where required.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must:

Hold a recognised Early Years qualification (Level 3 minimum preferred)
Have previous experience working within a Nursery or Early Years setting
Be comfortable providing personal care
Demonstrate a caring, patient, and nurturing approach
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
