Teaching Assistant
Dagenham
Full Time | Term Time Only
SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class in a welcoming primary school in Dagenham.
This role combines general classroom support, small-group interventions and 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, including Autism.
Key Responsibilities
Support learning through play-based and structured activities
Deliver phonics and early literacy support
Provide 1:1 and small-group interventions
Support pupils with Autism and additional needs
Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Requirements
Experience working in Nursery or Reception
Previous SEN/Autism support experience
Good understanding of phonics
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive, patient and proactive approach
Pay and Progression
Pay ranges from £95 to £105 per day, dependent on relevant Early Years experience, SEN knowledge and intervention experience. Candidates with proven Autism support and phonics intervention experience may be considered for the higher rate.
