Position: Teaching Assistant

Contract: Full-Time
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Year 3 class in a primary school in Bargoed. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) who is passionate about supporting children's educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and group support to Year 3 pupils, ensuring each child can access the curriculum effectively.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Support the emotional and social development of pupils, encouraging positive behaviour and self-confidence.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and track pupil progress, reporting back to the teacher and SENCo.
Help create a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within a primary school setting.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Level 2 or 3 preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with the teaching staff and contribute to a positive school environment.
