Are you enthusiastic about working as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a school that caters for pupils across all key stages who have learning difficulties? Or, do you have experience working in an SEN school with pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties?

Role

We currently require an enthusiastic learning support assistant to join our books to undertake a full-time long-term supply booking starting ASAP for the rest of the academic year in an SEN setting. The job will be term-time only and is a great opportunity to work as part of a committed department with the potential to secure a permanent role within the school. You will be working with children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs; MLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD and Physical Disabilities.

You will be working with pupils aged 3-11 in one of our schools rated outstanding by Ofsted. You will be accompanied by Teachers and other support assistants working with young people and children with a range of Special Educational Needs; Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Randstad are looking for a day to day, full-time or part-time long term SEN Teaching Assistant for an outstanding school based in the Knowsley Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Being willing and able to support classes of primary aged children, helping to managing behaviour in line with school policies

Support individual or groups of pupils
Engaging with the pupils and supporting colleagues with young people
Having a positive, enthusiastic and eager attitude to make a huge impact on pupils
Dealing with any immediate issues or emergencies according to the school policies and proceduresREQUIREMENTS

Be passionate about supporting teachers and young people in a SEN Setting.

Have excellent communication skills
Possess the motivation to achieve and add value to a school
Classroom Management skills
Strong work ethic and professional attitude INCENTIVES
