About Us:
We are an education recruitment agency dedicated to providing exceptional support to schools and educational institutions. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a reputable school in South Ockendon, Essex.
Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to help support children in the classroom with their lessons. You will play a vital role in the student's educational journey, providing tailored assistance to facilitate their learning and development.
Responsibilities:
- Helping pupils with their learning, often with a particular focus on maths, reading and writing.
- Supervising group activities
- Setting up equipment for lessons and keeping classrooms safe and tidy
- Helping develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials
Requirements:
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt strategies as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications are desirable but not essential.
