Description:
We are working in partnership with a Secondary School near Kendal to work within the SEND Department. The school are looking to recruit a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Full Time due to a recent increase in pupil numbers. There are two positions available;
* Full Time- 32.5 Hours - 5 days per week
* Part Time - 3 days per week
It will be a long term role with the view to have the opportunity to apply to transfer over to a Fixed Term contract for the right person.
What the school are looking for;
* Ideally Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistant or Health and Social Care Qualification or equivalent
* Experience in supporting pupils with SEND this could come from a wide range of backgrounds from own family members, sports coaching, social/residential care, mainstream which transfer to a teaching assistant role
* A real passion in supporting pupils with their individual need
* Strong Team Work skills due to you will be working within a team of teaching assistants
* A resilient teaching assistant who is open to change every day will be different
