Salary: FTE salary £28,608.00 – £29,542.00, pro rata salary £23,908.94 – £24,689.53

Unique School Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a Secondary School in the Barnsley area to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis.
Essential requirements for the role:
* 5 GCSE’s or above / equivalent including English & Maths
* Previous experience working with children in a school setting
* The ability to work under own initiative
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures and policies
* The ability communicate effectively
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Working to support interventions with students who required additional mentoring to achieve GCSE
* Supporting students in small groups and individually across KS3 and KS4 as required
* Promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support including those with special needs under the direction of a class teacher/ SENCO.
