Teaching Assistant | Derbyshire | Driver Essential | Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with access to your own vehicle? Looking for a rewarding role supporting pupils across schools in Derbyshire?
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistants to work within a range of primary, secondary, and specialist settings. Due to the location of some schools and the nature of the role, a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
The Role:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
Supporting children with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs
Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children and young people
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Confident travelling to schools across Derbyshire
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
