Teaching Personnel are hiring enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools in and around the Cardiff Area!

Are you seeking a Teaching Assistant role in a welcoming, supportive school environment? Do you want to make a real difference every day in children’s lives?

The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher with general classroom duties, working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support pupil engagement. You will work across a range of age groups from Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2 in various primary schools across the Cardiff area. The role requires adaptability and reliability and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making a positive impact on children’s learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about helping children succeed.

Builds positive and professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Is confident supporting children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

Has an understanding of or experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

Is adaptable, reliable, and keen to learn.

Experience working with children or as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not always needed to be successful!

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) or willingness to obtain one.

Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) in Wales.

Commitment to completing safeguarding and compliance checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
