Hours: Full Time (Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30)
About the Role: Our school is dedicated to supporting young people aged 10-16 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will play a vital role in providing tailored support to our students, helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs or mental health difficulties.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Help students develop social skills and manage their emotions.
Monitor and report on student progress and well-being.
Requirements:
Prior experience supporting children or adults with special needs or mental health difficulties.
A genuine passion for working with young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and resilience.
A commitment to promoting equality and inclusion.
