About the role

Connex Education are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school based in County Durham, where you will be working with pupils across KS3/KS4. You will need to have excellent communications skills both orally and written with grades A-C in English and Maths, or a relevant qualification.

Assignment Details

The role will commence from September 2024 and will be for the full academic year.

Able to diversify teaching techniques to suit all students
UK based experience working with children 
Able to work with students of varied abilities

Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour
Support the teaching and learning of pupils, working 1-1 and in small intervention groups.
Get creative in supporting the individual with their learning journey
Assist with behaviour management
Build strong relationships with allocated students
Amend and adapt planning to suit individual needs
