TeacherActive is excited to be working with a wonderful primary school based in Derbyshire (DE7) where the school provides a broad and rich curriculum, which prepares children for their next steps on their learning journey.
The school is looking to take on a part-time Teaching Assistant / TA for a short-term period who is experienced in 1 to 1 sessions as well as supporting in group settings. The successful applicant must possess a unique blend of interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills to effectively assist teachers and students.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
A Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare (preferred)
Previous experience supporting children in EYFS / KS1 / KS2
First Aid Qualification (preferred)
Driving License (preferred)
Skills in managing challenging behaviour
A positive and motivating approach to children
