Job Overview:

Integra Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant. This role involves providing personalized support to a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and PDA profile.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be more than just a support provider; you will be a trusted friend and confidant. You will engage in daily activities with the pupil, fostering a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Responsibilities:

* Preparation of resources and activities for each week, tailored to the pupils needs and interests

* Assisting with daily routines and educational tasks

* Participating in fun activities such as doing makeup and making bracelets for concerts

* Building a trusting relationship through consistent and empathetic interaction

* Encouraging social and emotional development

Requirements:

* Experience working with pupils who have high-level anxiety (social anxiety and history of panic attacks), ASD with PDA profile and Masking.

* Driving licence and access to own vehicle

* Previous experience working in the same or similar role is advantageous

* Collect educational attainment evidence from 1-1 sessions
