Teaching Assistant - Telford

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Telford, supporting a mixed Key Stage 1 class.

The school is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant who can provide effective classroom support and help pupils make progress in their learning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with younger children and is confident supporting pupils both individually and as part of a class.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the class teacher with:

Providing classroom and learning support to pupils
Supporting children with their reading, writing and maths
Working with individuals and small groups
Helping pupils stay focused and engaged with their learning
Supporting classroom routines and activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and good relationships
Preparing classroom resources and activities
Helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Teaching & Learning or an equivalent relevant qualification
Previous experience working within a primary school
Experience supporting children within KS1 would be advantageous
A patient, positive and nurturing approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
The ability to work effectively alongside the class teacher
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
A reliable and professional approach
