Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children in their learning?

Do you have experience working with pupils in a mainstream primary school setting?

Are you a patient, adaptable and reliable Teaching Assistant with a positive approach to learning?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Sutton-in-Ashfield that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school has a positive ethos and a great OFSTED rating, providing a supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to learn, develop and achieve their potential.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant from September on a long-term basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across the school, working alongside the class teacher to provide effective classroom support, encourage engagement and help children access their learning.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school or educational setting
• A good understanding of supporting pupils within the classroom
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient and supportive approach
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Adaptability and reliability
