Have experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), either within education or a relevant care/support setting
Be confident building positive relationships with pupils who may require additional emotional, behavioural or learning support
Possess a patient, adaptable and proactive approachHighly Desirable

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, complex needs, speech and language difficulties or learning disabilities
Experience implementing EHCP targets and supporting differentiated learningAbout the Role

Providing 1:1 and small group support
Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
Assisting teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Helping pupils develop communication, social and independence skills
Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
