Teaching Assistant - September 2026 Start

Are you a high-achieving graduate from a Russell Group university looking to begin a rewarding career in education? A thriving secondary school in Ealing is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, approximately 8:15am to 4:00pm, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into teaching, educational psychology or another education-based profession.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support students during lessons, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.

Encourage student participation, confidence and academic progress.

Help prepare classroom resources and maintain a positive learning environment.

Support pupils with varying learning needs while promoting independence.

Assist with behaviour management in line with the school's policies.

Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

To be Eligible You Will Need

A degree from a Russell Group university.

A genuine passion for working with young people.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive, reliable and professional approach.

The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

The right to work in the UK.
