The school promotes high expectations and encourages students to develop their confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.
The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work alongside teaching staff to support students in the classroom, encourage engagement with learning and provide additional support to help pupils make progress.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
A relevant Teaching Assistant / Learning Support qualification is desirable
Experience supporting children or young people in an educational setting
The ability to build positive relationships with students
Strong communication skills
A patient and supportive approach
An adaptable and enthusiastic attitude
