TeacherActive is proud to be working with welcoming primary schools across Worksop that are looking for enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Key Stage 1.

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development, both within the classroom and through one-to-one or small-group activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with relevant experience supporting children who is looking to develop their career within primary education.

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

Have experience supporting children within a school or similar setting
Be confident working with pupils across Key Stage 1
Support children with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
Provide one-to-one and small-group support when required
Assist the teacher with classroom preparation and behaviour management
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Have a patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, although relevant experience will also be considered
