About Us: We are a leading educational recruitment agency dedicated to placing passionate educators in exceptional schools. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a GOOD rated Ofsted primary school in Camden, London. This full-time role will begin in September 2024.

Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant in the Early Years department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and learning of young children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment tailored to the individual needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning materials as needed.
Support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Monitor and report on students' progress and development.
Help manage classroom behavior and implement positive behavior strategies.
Participate in school activities, trips, and events, supporting students as needed.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.Requirements:

Experience working with young children, particularly those with SEN.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
