A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a supportive Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This Teaching Assistant position will involve working with pupils who have a range of complex needs, including autism, communication difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), and associated learning challenges. The successful Teaching Assistant will help create an inclusive and positive learning experience, supporting pupils to achieve both academically and personally.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Support pupils with autism, SEMH needs, and additional learning difficulties.

* Help implement individual education and behaviour support plans.

* Adapt resources and classroom activities to meet individual learning needs.

* Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour strategies.

* Encourage participation, confidence, and independence in learning.

* Support pupils in developing communication, social, and life skills.

* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to provide consistent support.

This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone passionate about helping children and young people overcome barriers to education and reach their full potential.
