 Pay: £94 to £100 per day

 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a confident and committed Teaching Assistant for full-time work in a secondary school in South Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent work, become part of a supportive school community and make a genuine difference to students throughout the academic year.

You will work with pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing classroom, small-group and one-to-one support. The role may involve supporting students with SEND, SEMH needs or barriers to learning, so patience, resilience and strong relationship-building skills will be essential.

What will you be doing?

Support students during lessons and help them remain engaged with their learning
Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions
Assist pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs
Help teachers create an inclusive and positive classroom environment
Build professional and supportive relationships with students
Encourage pupils to develop their confidence, independence and academic skills
Promote positive behaviour in line with the school’s policies
Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the wider SEND team
This position would suit someone who:

Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
Has worked with secondary-aged pupils or young people
Is confident supporting students with a range of needs
Can remain calm, patient and professional in challenging situations
Is reliable and available for full-time work
Is passionate about improving outcomes for young people
Can work effectively as part of a busy school team
