Job Duties:
Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons
Assisting students with their learning activities
Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supervising students during class and break times
Have an understanding of Additional Learning Needs
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Relevant experience working with children
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team
Education:
GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Relevant experience working with children
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of child development and learning processes
Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students
Effective communication and listening skills
Organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
First aid certification
Welsh speaking
Working Conditions:
Work primarily takes place in a classroom setting
May involve standing for extended periods
Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
Adherence to school policies and procedures
Starting Date: Full-time from September.
