Academics are currently recruiting for experienced and qualified SEN Teaching Assistants for flexible supply opportunities within our partnership schools across Caerphilly Borough.
Whether you're in search of day-to-day casual supply work or a long-term placement, we have a diverse range of opportunities for you to explore throughout Primary schools in the Caerphilly area. These part time and full time opportunities allow flexibility and are a great way to experience new schools and upskill as a SEN Teaching Assistant. These roles could also lead to more long-term and permanent roles within our schools.
As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant with Academics, you will:
Hold the relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications (CACHE L1/2/3).
Have excellent knowledge and understanding of additional needs within an educational setting (ASD, ADHD etc).
Be available to work during usual school hours (8:30am - 3:30pm) and easily commute across the Caerphilly Borough.
Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to support children across Foundation Phase, KS1 and KS2.
Hold an Enhanced DBS that is currently registered with the update service. Alternatively, you will be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with our assistance.
Registration with the EWC or be willing to apply.
