Position Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups. Working closely with teachers and students, you will provide invaluable assistance in the classroom, helping to enhance students' understanding, engagement, and progress.

Responsibilities:

* Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons, providing support to individual students and small groups as needed.
* Differentiation: Adapt teaching materials and activities to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all learners can access the curriculum effectively.
* Assessment and Feedback: Assist with the assessment of students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Behaviour Management: Support the maintenance of a positive and inclusive learning environment, implementing behaviour management strategies and providing pastoral support to students as needed.
* Resource Preparation: Prepare and organise teaching resources and materials, ensuring classrooms are conducive to learning and teaching objectives are met.
* Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to meet the individual needs of students and promote their overall well-being.

Experience and Qualifications:

* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or similar role within a school setting.
* A passion for education and a genuine desire to support students' learning and development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
* Knowledge of educational principles, strategies, and best practices for supporting student learning and development.
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of students.
* Relevant qualifications or training in education, such as a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, would be advantageous.
