Teaching Assistant - Montgomery Primary School
Full Time, 32.5 hours per week (term time only) 38 weeks per annum
Salary: TA: £12.18 per hour / MTA: £11.59 per hour
Required to start September 2024.
This post is a combination of roles and includes 1 hour per day as a Mealtime Assistant and 5.5 hours per day as a Teaching Assistant. The post is advertised as full time but we would consider part time for the right individuals. This is a fixed term position with an initial period of 12 months to cover for a vacancy pending a permanent appointment. We will be especially keen to meet you if you have EAL experience.

The school is lucky to be based in a zero-carbon, Passivhaus building built in 2010. The design of the building ensures we have large classrooms with wide corridors which provide fantastic breakout spaces for small groups and one-to-one work as well as substantial grounds with a field, tennis court, playground, and adventure trail.
What are we looking for in you?
We are looking for someone to join our team in providing a broad and rich knowledge-based curriculum with high expectations for children’s outcomes. We are fully inclusive and nurturing school and are looking for someone who can follow our supportive and restorative approach to behaviour management.
You need to be able to work as part of a team and good communication and a friendly approach is essential. Visits prior to application are more than welcome.
