Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Shifnal
Pay Rate: £90- £105
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Smart Education is currently recruiting a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Shifnal. We are a special school for pupils with Autism, aged 5 to 19 years, who are seeking to appoint a motivated, dedicated and driven Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access a personalised curriculum designed to meet their individual needs. You’ll work closely with teachers and other staff to support students’ learning, communication, and independence, ensuring they are fully prepared for the next stage of their education or adult life.

Experience supporting students with autism

Child and adult DBS

Ability to work with pupils who may have challenging behaviours

Strong communication and behaviour management skills
