Aspire People are recruiting a Primary School Teaching Assistant in Gloucester.
We are currently working with a lovely school based in Gloucester that requires a Teaching Assistant to join from September 2024 on a full-time basis.
The role will see you supporting within the schools KS1 department on an SEN basis. You will need to have proven experience working alongside pupils with SEND and in particular, children with autism and social communication needs.
Requirements:
* Level 3 within Childcare qualification essential.
* Confident in promoting positive behaviour.
* Strong knowledge on SEND.
* Experience on delivering intervention.
Skills:
* Able to support colleagues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and classroom management abilities.
* A passion for education and a commitment to student achievement.
Essential:
* Experience in long-term SEN TA role within the UK.
