SEN Teaching Assistant - Supply Opportunities

Premier Education Ltd are currently working with a number of primary and specialist schools across Cheshire East who are looking for enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils from September.
We have a variety of opportunities available, including 1:1 support, small group interventions and general classroom support, working with pupils with a range of additional needs.
Whether you're an experienced SEN TA, a graduate looking to gain valuable school experience, or someone with a background in care, support work, youth work or similar, we'd love to hear from you.
Supply work is a great way to gain experience across different schools while having the flexibility to choose when you work. There are also opportunities for long-term and permanent positions for candidates looking to secure something more consistent.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Support pupils to access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities
Deliver and support targeted interventions
Assist pupils with their social, emotional and academic development
Support pupils with a range of needs, which may include ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff
Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
Requirements
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
Experience in a school, care, support work or similar setting is welcomed
A patient, calm and nurturing approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Flexible, reliable and committed
Ability to provide two references covering the last two years
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
Pay
£92 - £110 per day
Dependent on experience, qualifications and assignment.
