Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor - Hampstead
We are looking for a passionate individual who is interested in supporting young people in a Secondary school in the Hampstead/Camden area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who want to move into a career in teaching. You will benefit from in-depth support and training from the school, and develop your knowledge of the national curriculum.
Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor Main Responsibilities:
* Supporting across the classroom supporting the class teacher with academic progress
* 121 Support and group work
* Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities, as well as monitoring and assessing children’s achievement and progress
* Actively involved in a wide range of activities, promoting the physical, cognitive, cultural, social, and emotional well-being of the pupils
* Actively interacting with children through play-based and sensory-related activities
* Potentially supporting pupils with additional needs such as; Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD and Learning Difficulties
