Are you a compassionate, resilient and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
We are seeking outstanding SEN Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Wandsworth. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of special educational needs and make a genuine, lasting impact on their learning, confidence and wellbeing.
Your role will include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
Supporting children to access the curriculum and engage in learning
Assisting with the delivery of personalised interventions and EHCP targets
Promoting positive behaviour, independence and confidence
Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and communication development
Adapting resources and activities to meet individual learning needs
Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teachers and SEN staffWe are looking for someone who is:
Patient, empathetic and passionate about SEN support
Calm, resilient and able to manage challenging behaviours positively
A strong communicator who can build relationships with pupils and staff
