Are you caring, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting children in their learning? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Ripon, helping pupils develop their confidence, achieve their potential and enjoy their school experience.

The Role

Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils with their learning.
Encourage positive behaviour and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Help children develop their academic, social and emotional skills.
Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure every child receives the support they need.

The Ideal Candidate

Has a genuine passion for working with children.
Is patient, caring, positive and approachable.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Can encourage and motivate pupils of different abilities.
Is reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic about supporting children's development.
Has previous experience working with children or in a school setting (desirable, but not essential).
