The a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Work with small groups and individual students to boost their academic progress.
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
Provide support for students with special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to learning.
Help maintain a positive and safe classroom environment.
Supervise students during break and lunchtimes, fostering positive social interactions.
What We're Looking For:
A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their educational development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is preferred.
A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the varying needs of the school.
