What we're looking for:
Proven experience in education, youth work, social care, or SEN support.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to connect with secondary-age students.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).Key Duties:
Classroom Support: Assist teachers with room setup, resource preparation, and managing classroom behaviour.
Academic Guidance: Lead small-group interventions in reading, writing, and math to reinforce learning.
1-on-1 Support: Provide dedicated support to pupils and adapt tasks to their capabilities.
Pupil Well-being: Offer emotional support, monitor student safety during breaks, and report progress or safeguarding concerns to teachers. What we offer:
