TeacherActive is delighted to be supporting a friendly school in the NG5 area of Nottingham with the recruitment of a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant.
Must have relevant qualifications!
This Teaching Assistant role will involve working alongside the class teacher to support pupils throughout the school day. You will help children access their learning, contribute to classroom activities and provide extra support to individuals or small groups when needed.
The school is looking for someone who is approachable, dependable and passionate about helping children make progress. This would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with relevant experience who is looking to develop their career within education.
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
Have previous experience working with children
Be confident supporting pupils within a classroom setting
Have a patient, positive and encouraging approach
Be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Work well as part of a team
Be committed to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting the teacher with daily classroom activities
Supporting pupils with their learning and development
Working with small groups and individual pupils
Helping to prepare learning materials and resources
Promoting positive behaviour and classroom routines
Encouraging pupils to become confident and independent learners
