Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Primary Teaching Assistants to work within welcoming primary schools across Loughborough and Coalville.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
Work with pupils individually and in small groups.
Help children develop their skills, confidence, and knowledge.
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Requirements

A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.
GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) are essential.
Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
