As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in helping students feel supported, motivated and confident in their learning. You will work closely with teachers and school staff to create a positive classroom environment, providing additional support to pupils who may need that extra encouragement to succeed.

What will your role involve?
Supporting students across a variety of subjects within a secondary school environment
Providing one-to-one support and assisting with small group interventions
Encouraging students to engage positively with their learning and build confidence
Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and additional learning needs
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment
Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
What are we looking for?
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or experience working with young people
Previous experience within a school or similar educational setting is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence in supporting classroom behaviour and encouraging positive engagement
A patient, approachable and enthusiastic attitude
A genuine passion for supporting young people and making a difference in education
