Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role in a supportive Chesterfield primary school?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join a popular Junior School in Chesterfield, working with pupils across Key Stage 2.

The school works directly with Tradewind Recruitment and is looking for an experienced TA who can make a positive difference both within the classroom and when providing more targeted, one-to-one support.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom.
Provide support to pupils across Key Stage 2.
Work on a one-to-one basis with pupils requiring additional support.
Help pupils to access the curriculum and develop their confidence and independence.
Support pupils with their learning, social development and engagement.
Work effectively as part of a supportive teaching team.
Promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.
Have experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 2.
Be confident providing both classroom and one-to-one support.
Have a patient, positive and nurturing approach.
Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting children's learning.
Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Hold a relevant TA qualification or have significant relevant school-based experience.
