Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Leeds – LS2, LS3, LS4, LS6 & LS7

Start Date: September

Salary: £90 - £110 per day

Are you a passionate Primary Teaching Assistant looking for flexible day-to-day work across Leeds?

Do you have experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant supporting children across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2?

Would working as a Primary Teaching Assistant across different local schools give you the flexibility you need?

TeacherActive is working with a number of mainstream primary schools across LS2, LS3, LS4, LS6 and LS7 that require a reliable Primary Teaching Assistant for day-to-day and short-term cover from September.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant could support whole-class learning, work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and deliver small-group interventions. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to ensure pupils remain engaged and supported.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

Previous experience working with children

Primary school experience desirable

Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification desirable

Experience supporting KS1 and/or KS2

Good safeguarding knowledge

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A positive and adaptable attitude
