The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND ASC Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work with students across both primary and secondary age groups, delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to the needs of students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with ASC.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to provide holistic support.
Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback.
Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with children with ASC.
Ability to teach across both primary and secondary age ranges.
Strong understanding of SEND best practices and legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
