Role Overview:

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons that inspire students to explore the fascinating world of science. You will join a dynamic department committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Outstanding Lessons: Plan and execute effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to achieve their full potential.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of a stimulating and comprehensive science curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
Student Engagement: Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and cultivate a stimulating classroom environment.
Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess students' work, provide constructive feedback, and track progress to ensure continuous improvement.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognised teaching qualification and QTS are essential.
Relevant Experience: Proven experience in teaching science at the secondary level is required.
Strong Subject Knowledge: A deep understanding of the science curriculum and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to nurturing students' curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
